Community Diaper Banks in Uinta County - New Hours

The Community Diaper Bank of Uinta County distributes diapers typically on the first Monday of each month, but the distribution day for March will be March 9, 2020. New distribution hours are 12:00 – 7:00 p.m. Distribution is made possible by local volunteers and a partnership with Uinta B.O.C.E.S. #1, 1013 W Cheyenne Dr., Evanston, where the diaper bank is located in room #103.

A Community Diaper Bank of Bridger Valley volunteer distributes diapers on the first Tuesday of each month from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Lyman Town Hall, 100 E Sage St., a diaper bank partner.

Any family in need of diaper assistance can stop by during the diaper bank distribution times to receive free diapers. Often, a hidden consequence of poverty, diaper need impacts the physical, mental and economic well-being of children and families in our community.

Diapers are a basic necessity required for all babies to reach their full potential, yet one in three U.S. families struggle to provide enough diapers for their baby.

In 2019, UWSW distributed 14,376 diapers through Community Diaper Banks of Uinta County and Bridger Valley. “Our Community Diaper Banks help families close the diaper gap. Diaper assistance is not available with other government nutritional support programs like SNAP or WIC,” said Shelly Richno, Community Impact Coordinator of UWSW.

UWSW’s goal is that all families have an adequate supply of diaper for their children. Local community members can help by donating diapers and wipes during the distribution times or by donating monetarily.  Learn More
