United Way of Southwest Wyoming (UWSW) will be accepting letters of intent for the 2017-2019 funding process from any 501 (c) (3) organization who meet the requirements and serve residents in Lincoln, Sublette, Sweetwater or Uinta Counties.
Funding will be directed to programs, services, and collaborations that that address predefined goals in the specific areas of – education, health and basic needs. Applicants are encouraged to review our website to make sure they have measurable goals aligned to meet the Strategic Plan of United Way of Southwest Wyoming. Programs who provide similar services to the community are encouraged to collaborate on their application. In order to form a collaborative, a lead agency must be designated as the applicant. Because of this funding, children will be better prepared for school, families will receive support in their time of greatest financial need and homebound seniors will receive nutritious meals and social interaction, improving the quality of their lives,” said United Way of Southwest Wyoming Executive Director Kelly Frink. “We are very grateful to those who contribute to United Way as well as those who give of their time to volunteer and participate in the creation of these funding recommendations. Giving of one’s money and time is not an obligation, it is a choice individuals make, and we are humbled by the countless individuals that choose to support the United Way and our efforts to improve the community.”
Letters of Intent are due January 13, 2017 by 5:00 pm. Applicants will be contacted regarding their eligibility to proceed with the full application for funding the week of February 6th, 2017.
