Lunch with Reading Rockstars

Over the summer UWSW partnered up with  Sweetwater County Library System  for Lunch with Reading Rockstars. This event coincided with the Sweetwater County Library System’s Summer Reading Program. Children turned in reading logs to be entered into our drawing that took place on August 11th . A winner was chosen for each age group.

The purpose of this event was to share with children why reading is important in different types of jobs in our community. Our Lunch with Reading Rockstars event allowed children to have lunch with influential individuals in our community that shared why they love to read.
