Community Diaper Bank

Diapers are a basic necessity for a baby. They're as important as parental love and food. United Way established the Community Diaper Bank to help with the growing need of diaper assitance.


Why a Diaper Bank?

  • Baby's health & well-being

  • Ensure good hygiene for the entire family

  • Diapers are expensive and are need for 2-3 years

  • Prevent babies from being left in soild diapers too long

  • Unhappy baby = stressed parents, extreme cases can lead to child abuse

  • Cloth diapers can not be washed at laudromats

  • Childcare facilities require an adequate supply

  • No childcare = missing work

  • Diapers cannot be purched through federal assistance programs like food stamps or WIC

How you give help / get help
Sweetwater County
Donations for the Community Diaper Bank can be dropped off at our office
404 N Street, Ste. 301, Rock Springs. Distribution of diapers are done through the Food Bank of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs and Green River during their normal distribution hours.
Formula donations can be dropped off at the Food Bank and are also appreciated.

Sublette County
Donations and distributions are through The Food Basket, 104 N Bridger Ave, Pinedale, WY.

Washakie County
Donations and distributions are through the Elks Lodge, 604 Coburn Ave., Worland, WY.
